Made With Love

Happy Monday, all! I have a special card to share today – my mom’s birthday card!

I wanted something bright and spring-timey so I die cut some cute daisies and stuck them in a vellum mason jar.  I kept the layout pretty simple because there’s tons of detail and pattern going on.

I stamped the jar twice, once on vellum and once on some patterned paper then fussy cut them both out.  I layered them with the stems and leaves for the flowers stuck in between. The label is stamped on patterned paper, then I used a marker to color the border before fussy cutting it out and setting an eyelet to tie it to the jar with the gingham ribbon. The large yellow button is custom made from yellow polka dot designer paper using the Epiphany Crafts button creator tool – love that thing!

All of the papers here were from my scraps stash! The border punch is a discontinued item from the Paper Studio.  The small yellow button is retired from Stampin’ Up.  The die for the flowers is the Sizzix Daisies #2 – I couldn’t find a link for it so it may also be discontinued.  Everything else is linked below!
