Lord Have Mercy, It’s Your Birthday!
Hello, friends! I am back! My major huge work project is finally over, yay! I have a few things that I’ve worked on here and there that I now have time to share with you, so look for regular posts from me again!
Today’s card is one that I made last month for my sister’s birthday. She loves all things glittery and sparkly and she has a modern style so that’s what I tried to do for her card. And she’s getting old so I thought the sentiment was appropriate, lol!
Obviously, with all the glitter going on here, this card would never be okay for OWH!
The sentiment is actually from three different stamp sets combined. Crazy how that worked out okay, isn’t it? The “Lord Have Mercy” is from Amuse (link below) and the “It’s Your” and “Birthday” are from two different Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society sets (both no longer available). I heat embossed them with glitter embossing powder, added some bling from my random stash, and layered on some glittery papers/ribbon. The glitter papers are both DCWV and kinda old – couldn’t find a link for the polka dot source. The glittery ribbon is called ‘white’ but it definitely has touches of pink to it.
