The Places You’ll Go…
Hello friends! Sorry for my absence! My day job has been extremely busy and I’ve been on some work-related travel, so unfortunately the fun stuff like cardmaking and blogging have fallen to the wayside for a bit. I do have a card share for today but I don’t know when the next one will be!
This card was a commission for a co-worker who wanted a card large enough for their group to sign for their supervisor. So this is card is about 5 x 7. It’s for a guy that loves books and reading. And hopefully he likes leaves and gold shimmer spray, lol!
Forgive the picture quality here – I gave it to my co-worker then realized I hadn’t snapped a picture of it so I grabbed it back from her real quick and took one at her desk! Here’s a closer shot where you can see the leaves and shimmer spray. I’m obsessed with this stuff for some reason – only in gold, I don’t like it in any other color!
I also made the envelope peeking out from an old random bit of scrapbooking paper – source unknown. Much easier than finding the right size envelope for an odd-sized card like this one!
I used retired Stampin’ up! First Edition paper for the background, and stamped on it with retired SU! Autumn Leaf Prints stamps that I inked in a variety of fall colors, including retired colors SU Creamy Caramel, SU Summer Sun, and SU Handsome Hunter. Everything else is listed below!
