World Card Making Day Bloghop with Operation Write Home!
Hello, hoppers! Welcome to my stop on this great big celebration of World Card Making Day! If you arrived here from somewhere else, be sure and click back to the main hop page to see all the great inspiration to be found today!
I know there are a lot of cards so I will get right to mine. We were asked to make a thank you card from an OWH sketch, so here’s what I made…
I used some cute new stamps I just got from Unity during our recent fundraiser sale with them! I watercolored the stamped images using Distress Inks and an aqua brush, then layered on some cute papers from We R Memory Keepers and some Martha Stewart washi tape.
I just loved the locker paper and had to use it with the ‘note’ theme – how many times did I write notes to friends in high school and deliver them by shoving them into the vents of their lockers? Eleventy thousand, at least. And I admit that I have been slow to join the washi-love club, but I think I have finally arrived there! My sketch was an old one, sketch #19.
That’s all I have to share today! Links to products I used are below if you want them. Happy World Card Making Day! Go be crafty today – I know I am!
