I’m Tired of Texting
I had to have this adorable Hero Arts stamp set as soon as I saw it! The sentiments are so fun! And since this is an HA stamp set I’m tossing this card into the Freestyle Challenge (#22) over at A Blog Named Hero.
For this card, I used OWH sketch #153. One of the stamps in this set stamped repeatedly in a row created my background strips. The horizontal strips are placed at the strategic “thirds” positions on the card, which is the lesson in today’s OWH Design Bootcamp. I love these monthly lessons that Paula has put together!
I stamped the typewriter twice, once with the sentiment, and then cut out the paper and layered it over the first typewriter. I curled it a little with my finger and added a pop dot behind the curl to give it dimension.
About this card: The images and text are from Hero Arts Typewriter Notes and are stamped in Versafine Onyx Black. I colored in the typewriter with a Distress Ink Marker in Peeled Paint. The background strips are Bazzill kraft cardstock. The green patterned paper is a scrap from Echo Park Everyday Eclectic collection. The orange polka dot is an unknown scrap.
