Thanks So Much
Friends, somewhere along the way I have gotten out of the blogging habit. I apologize! I am going to get back into the swing of things, I promise!
Today I have a card to share that I made for my upcoming card class at The Haughton House. It uses last month’s Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society stamp set, which I just love!
About this card: The sentiment and image are both from Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society 12-12 and are stamped in Versafine Vintage Sepia on ivory cardstock. I colored the flowers with Distress Ink markers in Victorian Velvet and Forest Moss. I dotted on a little bit of gold Liquid Pearls in the flower centers. I sponged around the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Old Paper, then distressed the edges of the panel with my We R Memory Keepers Heart Attack tool. The horizontal strips are scrap green cardstock that have been dry embossed with a Tim Holtz Damask embossing folder. I made three faux brads using more gold Liquid Pearls on the green strips. The background paper is from BasicGrey’s Serenade collection.
