Pinspiring Monday!
It’s Monday yet again and I have a great vintage style card to share today, inspired by a picture I found on Pinterest.
The picture is of some old doors, and it was originally posted to Flickr before being pinned.
I loved not only the colors here but all the texture and pattern! I used an embossing folder and Distress inks as well as a distressing tool to create my version…
This card is slightly smaller than A2, it just worked out that way. The vintage brad in the middle also got some distressing treatment, then I colored it a little with a Honey copic to give it more of a gold tone. Here’s a closer look…

About this card: I used Stampin’ Up! Pool Party cardstock with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder which I had inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I used a dauber to sponge a little Tea Dye Distress ink on as well. After embossing I sponged some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink gently onto the raised areas of the paper to add depth to the blue. I used a We R Memory Keepers Heart Attack distress tool to distress the paper edges and a little on the embossing. I also used it to distress the vintage brad (SU!) and then used a Copic (Honey) marker to color the brad again, giving it a golden tone. The panel is adhered to the base using dimensional adhesives. The base card is generic kraft cardstock which I stamped with a woodgrain background stamp from All Night Media using more Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

This is gorgeous! I love the tumbled glass distress ink on it.
